Our Why & Who We Are-
Hello there! I hope this message finds you well.
I just wanted to take a moment to share with you the incredible work that our friend Amy has been doing for animals in need. She has devoted so much time and effort to supporting animal causes, volunteering at Humane societies, and even funding medical expenses for our furry friends.
In light of the recent increase in abandoned pets due to the CoVid Pandemic, we knew we had to come together and make a difference. That’s why we decided to take a different approach and really focus on raising some much-needed funds to help these animals in need.
We have big hopes and dreams for 2024, and we believe that with your support, we can truly make a difference in the lives of these animals. We are 100% volunteer run and give 100% back to the animals.
Thank you for your continued support and kindness towards our furry friends. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of these animals in need. Let’s do this! 🐾💕

Christine Jerko-Holland
Board Memeber
Over the past 10 years, Christine has intermittently contributed to the Oregon and Scappoose animal shelters .
She volunteered to bathe dogs in Scappoose as a fundraiser. The dog wash fundraiser was a bustling event filled with wagging tails, bubbly shampoo, and the sweet scent of wet fur. Volunteers gathered around makeshift stations equipped with hoses, towels, and bottles of gentle dog shampoo. As each furry friend arrived, they were greeted with excitement and gentle pats, making them feel right at home.
Sadie, her beloved companion who lived to the admirable age of 14, was a lab/border collie mix. Sadie accompanied Christine on international adventures and was the ultimate backpacking partner.
Splitting her time between Vancouver, WA & Borego Springs, CA; she shares her home with her husband Steve and foster dog from the Oregon Humane Society. Her passion lies in caring for mixed-breed dogs!
